Happy Valentine’s Day everyone! Today was such a wonderful, sweet day. I spent all of it with Albert of course. He surprised me with 12 red long stem roses at work, took me out to a nice Japanese place for lunch, hung out at Starbucks just before dinner, and ate at a nice Italian Bistro where a jazz band played all night. The night was very romantic. It’s been one of the best Valentine’s so… far. ;)

What time is it? Ack… wayyyyy too early.

My hair is so wavy. So I use a hair straightener every morning before work. ;)

I ran out to take a peek at how cold it is outside…. ack 50 degrees, wet, and cold. I guess I’ll leave a little bit late today… hopefully the sun will start shining by 8am.

Finally, the sun is out! I see some brightness between the kumquat trees. ;)

Getting ready to go to work. I still haven’t manually washed my car yet. The week’s worth of rain washed all the dirt away. ;)

Before getting into the car, I had to hop over this huge puddle of water. Eww… last night’s rainfall.

It usually takes me about 12 minutes to get to Al’s apartment from my house… but with morning traffic, stop lights, etc. It takes me longer. But anyhow, here’s his apartment. I’m sitting there waiting for him to come out. ;)

Still waiting for Al to get into the car. Bored, so I turned up the stero. Currently listening to Modus Dei’s cd. The songs are so nice! You can download some of them here.

Finally got to work. Here I am in the parking lot.

I’m fixing up my Valentine’s Day gift before giving it to Al.

Boy was I surprised when Al handed me this box of flowers! He’s been waiting around the mailroom for it to come in. lol

Time for lunch. Al had some plans, so he drove. ;)

Albert took me to a Japanese restaurant called Miyako. There he is with his food. Doesn’t it look appetizing?

We drove pass the apartments on our way back to work.

After work, we went back to the apartment to drop off the roses. Aren’t they beautiful?

When we got back to the apartment, I was so tired from work that I didn’t want to do anything but sleep. After watching half an hour of tv, Al insisted on taking me out. He didn’t seem to like no for an answer. heh

We were going to have dinner at an Italian restaurant, but without reservations, it was an hour wait. It didn’t matter since we didn’t have anything else to do. ;) So we walked around to Starbucks and bought a drink.

Mmm… Toffee Mocha Latte. ;) We spent a good half hour at Starbucks just enjoy each other’s company. :)

We had about another 20 minutes before our table was ready at the restaurant, but we walked back anyways to check. Our table wasn’t ready… and that wasn’t a surprise. But we didn’t mind waiting since they had a live jazz band playing. We stood in the restaurant to watch.

We were finally seated and luckily, we got a table right in front of the band! Al was so happy. :) He sat there watching them play. The drummer was especially impressive.

I started getting full after drinking the coffee, so I only ordered beed ravioli. MMmm it was good!

We finished dinner and went back to the apartment. Al was so happy playing with his new toy. It a V-amp for his guitar.

Here’s one of the gifts Al got me. It’s a gift set with Truth, CK One, and a radio in it. :) I just love how cute the little bottles look!

And here’s his other gift, a makeup box with mirror, lip gloss, and lipsticks in it. :)

It was getting late, so I went home soon. The day was really fun. I had such a great time, and Albert is a sweetheart! :)
